SHOWCASING LOCAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN CLACKMANNANSHIRE

Local businesses have a unique opportunity on 31st October to find out about contract opportunities associated with construction projects in Clackmannanshire.

Hub East Central Scotland has organised a Meet the Buyer event in partnership with Clackmannanshire Council and the Supplier Development Programme which will be held at Alloa Town Hall.

Hub, along with Robertson Construction and Ogilvie Construction will share information on the pipeline of construction projects, including the new Wellbeing Hub and Lochees school.

Businesses will be able to find out what contract work is available on the projects and the requirements needed to be eligible to bid for them. They will also and receive expert advice and guidance on how to prepare tenders for upcoming work packages through the Supplier Development Programme.

Clackmannanshire Council leader, Ellen Forson, said: “This event will provide local businesses the opportunity to be among the first to learn about contract opportunities associated with the project and how to become ‘tender ready’ for bid writing for the supply chain selection process.”
