Social Housing Development handed over to Clackmannanshire Council

hubco have now completed an important social housing project for Clackmannanshire Council.  Contractor Marshall Construction completed a very modern looking 26 flats that will provide the Council a valuable alternative to accommodating social housing clients in expensive Bed & Breakfasts that can be as unsuitable as they are expensive and inconvenient.  The new facility will also have a dedicated housing assessment centre, emergency accommodation and 24 hour security services.

The facility is located in a residential neighbourhood and hubco and its designers have ensured the 26 unit two-storey development blends in well within the local buildings.  Importantly, this has created a facility that is not institutional in nature, but one that is more welcoming and able to afford users a homely, welcoming atmosphere.

This £1.95M development has also enabled hubco to provide valuable employment and training opportunities, particularly, with the entire construction contract being carried out by a single local contractor employing a local workforce.
